Taylor Kraft-Trainer, Coach, Cheerleader, Obstacle-destroyer, Mentor for Self-confidence and Accomplishment.

 

I found Taylor on NextDoor, the neighborhood App. I clicked through her posts and photos and found a video that she had posted, talking about how she helps her clients reach their goals. I got in touch with her and we had our first workout on September 25.

 

Since then we’ve generally worked out twice each week, which was my preference. I have a demanding job and I travel to see family in other cities frequently, but Taylor and I have managed to keep our schedules working for almost 4 months. During this time, I’ve lost 8+ pounds (including over the HOLIDAYS).

 

In addition to the weight loss, I have gained a lot of confidence in the gym. I had become a serious couch potato over the past couple years. I had no cardio capacity, out of breath with just a few flights of stairs. That has changed dramatically.

 

I can row 500 yards to warm up, and be ready for the next exercise without missing a beat. I have gained strength and flexibility, along with improved balance and reduced recovery time. I have two artificial knee joints, but I am now able to do a total of 100+ squats during a one-hour workout. I started out barely able to do 6 push-ups (from knees).

 

I recently accomplished a total of 60 push-ups during a workout (not without complaining, mind you.) I did not think I was capable of 60, but Taylor is able to encourage me, break up the sets as needed and challenge me to prove it to myself. I have some nerve damage in my wrists, but she has found modifications and equipment to help me work around my limitations and continue to gain strength and cardio capacity.

 

Our sessions aren’t exactly fun, but I enjoy the time I spend working out with Taylor. I walk taller on my way out of the gym. I am regularly surprised by how much I can accomplish. Taylor is great with clients of all ages and every level of fitness.

 

She is a creative trainer, good with modifications, encouraging and it never gets boring. She is capable of serious, hard-core training, if that’s what you want. I am so glad I began working out with her. I am happier, healthier and I look forward to our sessions.

Taylor is awesome! She is super supportive and encouraging and helps hold me accountable.With Taylor's knowledge and support I'm doing exercises I thought I could never do. She has helped me to build muscle and clean up my diet. I'm feeling stronger every day and it's really nice when those jeans that were always super tight all of sudden feel comfortable! I feel empowered knowing that she has my back and is on this journey with me. She makes working out fun and every session is different.
